In addition to our many donor compatibility testing options, the Rogosin Institute’s IGT laboratory provides consulting services to each of our transplant patients. Learning that you need a kidney transplant is a lot to take in. We understand that you may be overwhelmed, and we are here to help. Kidney transplant consulting is available at all of our locations to help you sort through everything. From initial diagnosis, testing, being added to the kidney transplant waiting list, finding a donor, and undergoing kidney transplant surgery, we will be your consultants and guides.

What happens during a kidney transplant consultation?

At each of our locations, we offer interpretations of your histocompatibility testing data and an assessment of your immunologic risk factors. Our facilities are able to run numerous tests to ensure that we understand everything about your unique situation and are looking for the exact type of donor you need.

The Rogosin Institute’s Immunogenetics and Transplantation Laboratory provides the highest quality testing for transplantation using state of the art technology. A highly professional staff is dedicated to the service of clinicians and their patients. The IGT laboratory is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM – 10:00 PM. IGT on-call staff is available for emergency testing 24 hours a day, seven days a week (24/7).
