The Rogosin Institute Comprehensive Lipid Control Center's (CLCC) work in lipid control began in the early 1980s when we pioneered clinical research of LDL-apheresis. LDL apheresis is a procedure that takes blood outside the body to remove the LDL-cholesterol, the major cholesterol carrying lipoprotein in your blood. In addition to LDL-apheresis, the CLCC provides a full range of diagnostic and treatment services for adults and children with high cholesterol and triglyceride disorders.
