New York State Assemblyman, Micah Z. Kellner, visits The Rogosin Institute

NYS Assemblyman, Micah Kellner, visited The Rogosin Institute on August 23, in honor of Kidney Disease Awareness and Education Week. Representatives from the NYC Chapter of the American Nephrology Nurses’ Association presented an overview of kidney disease and its related complications.

 

A discussion followed with Assemblyman Kellner and Rogosin physicians, nurses and nurse practitioners on the impact of kidney disease and related needs for health policy consideration such as increased funding for initiatives to prevent chronic kidney disease.
