What exactly does dialysis do?


Dialysis removes waste products that the body produces every day and that the kidneys are no longer able to eliminate. These include salt, water and other harmful substances.

Can kidney dialysis cure my kidney disease?


Kidney dialysis is commonly referred to as renal replacement therapy, because it does not cure kidney disease but is only a substitute for having functioning kidneys.

The in-center scheduling is flexible to accommodate work and school timetables. Our social workers provide assistance arranging for travel and vacations all over the world.

How long can a person survive on dialysis?


Some of the patients at the Rogosin Institute have been dialyzing with us for between 30 an 40 years. This dates back to a time when widespread, outpatient dialysis was getting started.
