Iris & B. Gerald Cantor Clinical Research Laboratory
The Rogosin Institute (RI) Iris & B. Gerald Cantor Clinical Research Laboratory, located at The Rockefeller University, is licensed by the New York State Department of Health for automated testing in the following categories: clinical chemistry; diagnostic immunology; diagnostic services serology; endocrinology; hematology (cellular hematology); oncology (sera and soluble tumor markers); therapeutic substance monitoring; quantitative toxicology; and urinalysis. The Laboratory has been granted CLIA equivalency and has been approved by Medicare. The Laboratory provides routine clinical testing for the RI Jack Dreyfus Clinic and the RI Comprehensive Lipid Control Center and runs tests for cyclosporine and tacrolimus for the transplant service at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
The Laboratory specializes in kidney and lipid-related testing in the clinical area and offers automated cytokine testing for research purposes (Investigational Use Only). Additionally, the Laboratory develops new automated tests for research and clinical use and trains students. Services are available for collaborative studies or on a contract basis.
