Familial Hypercholesterolemia
Rhoda has familial hypercholesterolemia, which means that her body produces a very high level of cholesterol. After trying diet, exercise, medication and even angioplasties, Rhoda's doctor felt he had exhausted her options. Ze'ev is a 16-year-old boy who had high cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
