Transplantation
After Jack was told he needed a kidney transplant, his friend and fellow musician, Karen, was tested to see if she could be a donor. With the knowledge that she was a compatible match and was healthy enough for the surgery, Karen and Jack went to Rogosin Institute for the transplant evaluation and eventual surgery at NYPH/Weill Cornell. The staff and doctors at Rogosin were compassionate and sensitive and provided them with the information and the time they needed to prepare for the surgery. Jack's transplant and follow-up care at Rogosin, enables him to continue to perform the music that he and Karen love so much.
